Firstly, I'd like to say that tonight's meeting was a good time. Unfortunately I did miss the first talking point due to work. Having a Pantheon related event boosts excitement for the game and quiets the little evil voice in my head saying shit like,"remember EQ next and vaporware".
It's clear there is no one game we can all gather in before Pantheon but it does sound like WoW classic is where many of us will meet ( horde pvp server I hope). I aim to learn how to stream while playing some classic and will probably apply that to some dota underlords as well. Streaming is something I've wanted to do for a while. So hopefully I can learn a thing or two from Krappa.
When it comes to alpha and beta I won't create my main (Druid). I think beta and alpha will be nice opportunity to play classes I won't really touch in launch. While saving all the new fresh lore and learning of how to play my main at launch. What you all think? Playing main class in beta/alpha or save that for launch?
Gritaz,
Personally, I decided to play a Shaman a long time ago and will stay with that as my main character. I'm a player that wants to be really damn good at my class and to do that I have to play the class at every opportunity. Yes, you'll pretty much know much of the content, quests, etc by doing that all through Alpha and Beta, but we won't see everything out there so much of the game will still be new.
