As you all know, I'm going to be leading the raids for Rising Shadow. It is highly unlikely that raid content will be a significant portion of the Pantheon experience (probably more akin to EQ1 at release). But even if that is true, we need to make sure we keep accurate records of our raid points.
Now I'm not a programmer...at all. While I'm developing an Excel spreadsheet as my default raid tracking system, if anybody out there has any programming knowledge at all and would like to help me out, please get with me in Discord so I can discuss my idea.
I'm not looking for anything complicated or even visually flashy..just something simple and easy to use.
I'm not a programmer either but what did you have in mind? I've been in guilds that just used a spreadsheet on google docs, viewable by all, don't imagine it'd be too hard to track down a template that'd fit our needs. It sounds like VR wants to make a pretty comprehensive guild tool. It'd be nice if it had some sort of api functionality to pull info from a 3rd party to allow us to keep track of our special/helper points... whatever, unless they plan on making the ingame tool that in-depth.
I've developed a spreadsheet that should work for our purposes and am running it past the officers right now for further input. I'll let everyone else see it after they give it a pass and ask for further suggestions. The key takeaway is that it needs to be quick/easy to update which I think this will be. We're not going to track a whole lot of information which does make this easier.
